1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Wise Bohemian River s.r.o. (“we”, “us”) processes the personal data of visitors to this website and of people who contact us. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data.

3. What data we process and why

Contact form. When you send us an enquiry through the form on this website, we process your name, phone number, email address and the content of your message. We use them to answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal for your event. The form sends your message to our team by email; the website itself does not store it.

Direct contact. If you contact us by email, by phone or through social media, we process the details you share with us for the same purpose.

Clients and participants. When we organise a programme for you, we process the details needed to deliver it, such as the names of participants and their travel and accommodation arrangements, and the information required for invoicing.

Website operation. When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request and the page requested (server logs). This data is used only to run the website and keep it secure.

4. Legal basis

  • Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) – answering enquiries, preparing proposals and delivering programmes.
  • Our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – business communication with you and the security of the website.
  • Compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) – mainly accounting and tax records.

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up communication. If we enter into a contract, we keep the data for the duration of our cooperation and afterwards for the periods required by accounting and tax legislation. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider only for a short period.

6. Who can access your data

Your data is available to our team. We also use providers of web hosting and email services, who process data on our behalf. When we organise a programme for you, we share the necessary details with the partners involved in delivering it, such as hotels, venues, transport companies and other suppliers.

We do not sell your personal data. If any of our providers processes data outside the EU/EEA, this happens only with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Social networks

This website links to our profiles on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. These are plain links – no content from these networks is embedded in the website, and no data is sent to them unless you click a link. Once you visit a social network, its own privacy policy applies.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you,
  • have inaccurate data corrected,
  • have your data erased,
  • restrict the processing of your data,
  • receive your data in a portable format,
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest,
  • lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz).
